About our Company

Provincial Investigative Services is a fully owned and operated Newfoundland business entity, incorporated in 1990.

We are committed to providing our clients with skills, experience and expertise, offering the highest standard of professionalism demanded in the private investigation and security field.

To date, we have completed over 7000 files province wide. These include surveillance for workers compensation claims, personal injury claims, disability claims and employee theft, as well as internal investigations, asset and property searches, background investigations, various locate investigations, and a wide variety of other investigations. Our services are not limited to investigations. We also provide labor dispute management, security consulting, uniform and plain clothes security, documents service, vehicle repossession, and finger printing.

About our President

The president has over 24 years of police experience with various law enforcement agencies throughout Canada as well as 18 years of investigation in private industry. He has conducted various investigations, including major crimes such as:

  • Auto theft
  • Computer related crime
  • Drug investigation
  • Fraud
  • Hostage incidents
  • Homicide
  • Internal/External theft
  • VIP security and protection

As well as numerous in-service training seminars, the president has attended the following learning institutions:

  • Toronto Police College, Toronto ON
  • Holland College, Charlottetown PE

About our Staff

Each investigator is highly skilled, trained and educated in investigations from various backgrounds. In addition, management at Provincial Investigative Services has developed, and continues to develop, an in depth training and procedural manual which ensures each investigator follows protocol and adheres to ethical standards. They are also all fully trained in court procedures and conversant with legal requirements.

Each administrative staff member is knowledgeable in investigations, which facilitates report and video production. They efficiently create detailed reports, which provide a temporal and detailed account of every investigation.
